Full Version: Sungard adhesive problems
Has anyone else experienced problems with sungards bronze line. I did recently, the liner was basically impossible to pull and I had to keep going back to get more and even that was bad. It turned out that they said alot of the bronze is defective in the liner. Then i just did a job this week, where the guy had sungard installed and had it removed b/c it wouldn't cure(bubbles did not go away). Well im done with sungard and now I have someone calling me saying theres bubble all over the film from a job over a week ago.
I was a sungard dealer some years ago and did have a few occasions where the liner would be really tough to remove from the dps adhesive. More often than not it was a remnant roll kicking around the shop and being used on a secondery install. Possible it at some point got humid and effected the adhesive, I dont know. I can tell you the bronz sputtered films can take forever and a day to clear out when you are in the cold months up here. Good luck
I told them that it just needs longer to dry. I really don't ever want to work with that film again, the liner is hard enough to pull on film that is good.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
