Avery's new film
Custom Search
Full Version: Avery's new film
Got a small sample of Avery's new Nano Fusion PPF. Not enough film to do the whole front so only part of this picture has film on it.
Speed,
How does this compare to XPel film? Film elasticity / flexibility, film memory, adhesive, does it scratch easy when installing? Did you use soap and water / alcohol or did you use installation gel?
Also can you lift it up and lay it down again like you can XPel film and not have any lift lines?
Just had a little pre-production bit of a roll. Installed it the old fashioned way, baby shampoo and iso. Doesn't stretch quite as easily as Xpel or Avery's Stoneshield but better than 3M or Clearshield. Lifted up part of it and layed it down without lift line.
How's the orange peel compared to the stoneshield and also Venture ultra ?
Very little orange peel, just the bumper is done.

i wanna try it out
Nice work!
how have you found it compaired to others types out there?
that looks good. i will have to look into that someday
Did the upper on this 997 with the new film, bumper done with current Avery topcoat. Biggest difference is how slick the new film feels even without Plexus. Easy to install with mostly slip and just a bit of tack solution where needed with no problem with edges staying down.

looks pretty good from here
I hear the new Avery is pretty sweet...I'm told the good stuff wont come out till the first of the year. Cant wait.
I haven't had a chance to install it yet...
Tried to get a sample but no response. Doesn't look to bad though.
