I was wondering how long it takes the average installer to apply 14 mil, per sq ft, or per window, excluding anchoring or caulking time and if your material was pre cut via plotter does this speed up the process at all

I was wondering how long it takes the average installer to apply 14 mil, per sq ft, or per window, excluding anchoring or caulking time and if your material was pre cut via plotter does this speed up the process at all

Thats a loaded question. I can tell you that when we inst 07 or thicker we ALWAYS pre cut the top and bottom horrizontal edges. This way all we need to cut is the vertical and dont have to deal with the corners. This eliminates tons of grief and thus saves time. How much time exactlly im not sure but I would guess it is in the 30% area
buy a film handler with 14mil core brackets(extension) or it will be a nightmare.
