Motor of the neons

What is the aprox. max horsepower that can be put in either both dodge neon 95-99 cars. Because i'v been planning on customizing my neon to approx. 500hp!

hell yeah. all these little boxes started popping up, and when i tried to close it out, more popped up. my little counter said 100+ pages were open. then everything just stopped, and i had to shut down.

All I can say is if you get 500hp out of a Neon that year model.
You should beef up the entire drivetrain or the next sound you hear could be your axles snapping off.... or worse....
I have a friend who is a Viper Tech. I will ask him if he has any suggestions.
