GMC power door lock interface

I am doing a remote start on a cmc truck, it is an '03. The remote start is no problem, but the keyless entry is, I am using DEI 456g to interface with the bus wire, I have it powered and grounded, and the lock/unlock ran to the 562t module. And the data bus wire th the purple OBD wire. But the door locks will not work with the remote. The unit clicks so we know it is at least getting power, any help would be appreciated?

If the truck has factory keyless, when you first plug the 456 in, the blue wire has to be grounded. If no factory keyless, ground the green/black while plugging in harness.

I tried the green/black and nothing happens.

Try the blue. I think the only difference is whether or not the truck will do 2-step unlock.

yes, there is a specific power up procedure, simple but ya gotta do it. should fix the problem.

I have tried this, and still no reaction from the truck, could it be anything else, maybe a bad module?

I guess it could be. I've never had a bad DEI module, but I haven't used a whole lot of 'em.

Hope you didn't use a regular test light does the factory remotes still work if not burnt out module sorry

read the installation manual for the 456G, if I'm not mistaken, there is a procedure to program it for Keyless model trucks and non keyless
