Madico has a film in their SunScape Select line called SL 180. I think it's around 9-10%. Its a little darker than Panorama Slate 10. I've never heard of a 5% silver before.
I think Madico is coming out with such a thing...at least that's what I heard in passing.

My buddy who is a Madico dealer mentioned something about them coming out with a 5% or something commercial film good for clear dual pane. Just what he said, not sure if the info is correct, but he has no reason to BS me.
OT you can be the ginny pig on that film for us then let us know if it works good.
what kinda glass this 5% silver headed for anyways?

We installed about 20,000 ft of it in an office building in San Diego last year. It looks nice. (tintslut @ Mar 15 2004, 09:00 PM) what kinda glass this 5% silver headed for anyways? I get alot of requests for darkest possible, especially in winter with the low sun angle up here.
It,s single glass for a factory in which the machines dono't work
anymore because of the light and heat. He doesn't like a HP 5% automotive film and not enough heat rejection. If anybody can find the film ,I will be happy.
OK..I'll go back to Sluts post...SS10 isn't good enough for them?

No mention of the existence of a SL 180. Is that a typing mistake? Devil
Madico Sunscape Select - SL180, 8%vlt, TSER 83%, Safe Dual Pane up to 40sf.
Devil, it is not on any price sheets or listed in the sunscape materials. if you want a Design Guide, the number is V9450-R01. or email me.
Just make sure your back side is covered with a warranty. Even with SP glass, unless it's tempered, @ 5% you will need to sweat that install out for a while.
