I HAVE ONE COMING IN TO THE SHOP TODAY I BELIVE IT'S A 2000 OR 2001 4 DOOR..ARE THERE ANY PROBLEMS I SHOULD BE AWARE OF ON THIS CAR..PLEASE ADVISE THANKS
i'm actually doin my first ford fuckus monday. i'm sure they'll be like most ford's and suck mighty big ones.
They will be to your surprise easy as hell. Quick money.

all fords suck. i went to go see my buddy today. at his shop and he was redoing a tausrus. because of the felt. he explained it to the customer. that fords just suck . but of course he didnt beleive him. i just happen to get there. when he was finished and explaining to the guy. that he will have a lil contamination still because fords suck. the guy was bieng a typical jerkoff customer. arguing with him that is should be perfect. well i had to put my two cents worth in . and tell the dude how it is. and explain to him that i had nothing to gain or lose buy explaining this to him. i think my cocky attitude finaly got to him. because my buddy is one of the nice guys. so he actualy strted to listen and left satisfied.
I told a customer that his citroen saxo sucked he did not like it ,the rub rail is hard plastic on them and scratched feck out of the tint so did it again , and told him it would happen again unless he changes the rail that touches the glass,not good for your reputaion though , i find most fords ok in england
i show them the diference on other cars. with fords i wipe my hand down the felt. and show them thqt it comes off. and i tape it to get it better. they usualy understand. some idiots dont. then they go to a new shop get the same thing
i leave em on. when i pull my liner i leave the bottom half still on so that it get contaminated. when it hits anything. and with the felts i tape em to keep the contamination to a minimum. so when i am done with the top i roll it up flip the film . flush down anything that may be there. flip the film back down .[ull the rest of the liner off and squegge it. comes out just as clean as taking the panels off. just alot faster
TTS on the back window, if you don't razor or sand the dots, the film will curl off them, they have that really powdery dot matrix on the b/g.

damn td, i did that car like a week ago, why you telling me now? now i'll lose sleep waiting for the guy to come back.

Sand the dots and it goes down fine as my car is a focus and thats all right up to now
AND MOST OF THE TIME I LAY MY CARDS ON THE TABLE
On the new ones where the felt doesn't come off how the hell do you cut those doors. I just did a newer tauras today the one with the rectangle shaped bg instead of the oval shaped. When I did the first two doors there was all kinds of crap under the film from the felt. on the other two doors I figured out how to take the felt and everthing out. Too bad I didnt' read this before today. anyway if you cant take the felt out on the new ones how can you get a clean job?
on the focus, i've never had a problem, on the tauruses, just remove the few screws that hold on the door panel, pop them off, pull the lower rubber out (just pulls straight up) and tape the shiznit out of the felts on the sides....gets me a decent job every time...i know it's time consuming, but i charge almost double my 4-door price for a taurus....
