We all know that colored film fades really fast.

After you do your most awesomist most insane custom graphic and install it on someones car or store front you would hate to see it fade in a couple of months to a year wouldn't you.

My solution to this problem is. Install clear UV shield first then your graphic to keep the colored film from fadeing.

adding to this idea, has anyone ever put UV clear on first, then piggybacked it with white frost? since white frost doesn't have a very long life on outside windows, this should give it several more years. maybe? i have no idea, i'm just asking.

That's a great idea. I have installed clear after a graphic, but never before!

Figures, I just re-did my front door last Sunday, and just read this post today. crying.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
