the rear window can be done with 24 inch film and there is some shrinking to do. the 1/4's are in the doors now instead of the body. had a rough time getting the brake light disconnected that sucker did'nt want to come apart, matrix is the same fine dot material like the lod ones.

how did you have to get the brakelight out?

Isnt that f'n B/W the smallest damn thing you have ever seen on a 4 door?

have yall seen one with that goody sunroof yet? long and skinny, some weird stuff.

I did a 04 Maxima today myself. The brake light came out easy for me. I just pushed it towards the back of the car while lifting up. And this one had a normal sunroof, but I have seem that one that goes the whole length of the car. Wierd.

this one had the long skinny sun roof that extends to the rear of the car, the 3 rd bk light just did'nt want to release the plastic coupling had to fight with it, got the light out no problem just could'nt get the wires to seperate.

This is my next car!!! I think they are cool as hell!!!!!

I'VE TINTED 3 SO FAR AND BESIDES THE REAR IT IS A TINTERS CAR BY FAR.

THE TOP OF THE LINE MODEL HAS A CONSOLE IN THE CENTER OF THE REAR SEAT THAT MADE ROLLING MY FILM IN VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. THE SIDE PANELS WERE TOUCHING TOO SO I HAD TO TAKE THEM OUT.

AS FOR THE MATRIX, IT IS THE SAME AS THE ACURA TL, NOT DOTS BUT JUST A BUNCH OF TINY HOLES. I DON'T BOTHER TO VINYL THESE BECAUSE THE FILM LAYS DOWN REAL NICE.

THE MODELS W/O THE CONSOLE TOOK ME 20 MINUTES TO DO THE REAR

I HAD A CUSTOMER COME BACK THE OTHER DAY TELLING ME HIS NAVIGATION SYSTEM HAD A SLIGHTLY WEAKER SIGNAL IN SOME AREAS.
SO OF COURSE HE THOUGHT I DID SOMETHING TO HIS CAR.
I EXPLAINED ABOUT THE METAL IN THE FILM AND HE UNDERSTOOD.
HE DECIDED TO STICK WITH THE HP SUNTEK INSTEAD OF HAVING TO TAKE IT OFF AND PUT DYED FILM ON THE REAR.

I'm doing one of these cars soon..I'll be using ATR Charcoal (Llumstar) Any affect on the navigational system using this film?

Any "heads up" other than what I've read on this post?

I've done several TW with ATR, I have not had a problem! I would not think you would unless you were using a full metalized !

Oh and easy car (well those little quarters on the back doors, I hate those bastards )

toodark, did you get the 3.5 motor? those mothers are FAST, so is the altima with that motor, i was suprised as hell how fast those cars are
