Put together an entire order and compare the prices of the whole order. Sure, every vendor may have a cheaper price on a few items, but club you on others. Look at SS pressurised tanks. FilmHandler is way higher in price than Performance Tools, not just $.05. If you are worried about $.05 on one item, you need to spend more time focusing on growing your business. From a time standpoint, you will save money with Performance Tools when you look at the cost of the whole order. If you want to cherry pick each item and buy this item from Performance and this item from FilmHandler, go right ahead. If you have time to do that, your businress must be suffering.
PJF
Just for example. Here are some additional comparisons that show more than a $.05 difference. I just wanted to give a complete view.

PF...

Resentments carried over time turn into chips on the shoulder... be careful of your wording... some may not know they do not possess the where-with-all to grow a business and others know full well how to and don't want to be preached to with what may come across as the same old corporate BS (or propaganda). You're preaching to a very small choir considering the size of the congregation.

Although this is a great medium to get the word out about your offering... it is not the end to the means... Those who possess power live under an illusion... tread lightly is all I am saying. spit.gif

I started to do this very same thing... however... 5 cents means more to one person than the next... that is the way of the world... to a tinter, that pack of Olfa blades is the air he/she breathes... he/she cannot function without it...

Saying I heard before... "Would you rather be right or would you rather be happy"?

Me... I'd rather be happy... spit.gif

i would like to think i have a little more class than to respond to this kind of juvenile behavior.
but this can not go with out reprecussion.

i know how to run a business jackass. i've run my own for over 8 years. before that, i managed a multi-million dollar auto glass business. with gross sales exceeding a 15% increase during the time i was there. so don't lecture me on how to run a business.

$0.05 means squat to me. i don't base my expenses on who is the cheapest. i buy from the people who serve me best. the ones who can get it to me the fastest, the ones who go out of their way to see i'm happy, the ones who know that i, and every tinter out there like me, are their lifeblood, and the ones who are honest. the same way i treat my customers. (regardless of how i may seem on here, my customers are the ones who feed my family. and they get treated as such)

all i was doing was questioning your statement "the best prices".
i am fully aware that performance beats most others in nearly every catagory. but they don't beat everyone in EVERY catagory. unless you can beat EVERY supplier, in EVERY catagory, you can't honestly make that statement.

you have to watch what you say in advertisements, cause there's always somebody out there willing to make an ass of himself to make you look dishonest. like me.

reminds me of a radio ad i heard in austin a few years ago. this window tinting shop "dared me to find a flaw". spit.gif it was all i could do not to go to the shop and pick the fukk out of their work.
PJF
I am sorry if I offended anyone. I was just posting about Performance and felt that the reply was sort of harsh considering that it was $.05. I maent to say that the have the best prices when you consider an average order. Anyway, there is no use kicking a dead horse. I again appologize if anyone took offense to my post. The tinters on this post are very important to Performance Tools, and I did not intend to be condescending
to anyone. I just felt the need to stick up for Performance the way that I am sure any of you would stick up for your shop. ME TINT makes a very good point. There are several good tool suppliers out there. Buy from whoever you feel offers you the best overall value with price, service, fulfillment of order, ect. all included. thumb.gif

I hope that this clears this up and no one is still offended. beer.gif

i use performance. and i will continue to use performance despite a minor hiccup we had. i get pissed about something real quick, then i'm over it just as quick. (unlike most people) i use performance because they have done right by me in the past and have gone out of their way for me. i'll by from them despite the cost. the price isn't important to me.

i just like calling people out when they make an untrue statement. because it's funny to watch them get all defensive and try and justify it.

Great to see this thread take a more positive direction.

Thanks TTS & PJF... thumb.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
