QUOTE Ah, i remember those days well. Don't foget to put a hit counter on your page. lol. Hit counters. My pet hate too unless you have had your teenage son set up the site for you and you feel obligated to...Nahhhh not even then. We nearly had one on our site until I made it clear how much business we would lose as a result. Our main competitor (well for a couple of keywords) still has one on their site believe it or not. TD certainly does do well in the seach engines. What tactics have you used in the past that have worked if you wouldnt mind sharing with us that is? Obviously your excellent supply of real content will be the main reason. Yeah? We are killing on yahoo. All our keywords are Top 5 -10 on the Australian yahoo. Google we are struggling a bit. We have a cms based and hence dynamic website and I dont have access to the server to create any static html pages. I will get there eventually but just struggling at the moment.

I like Xtrem counter - it help we to understand which search engine or link is better working. Also I can understand location of my show cars - if show is in Germany - lot of visiotrs from .DE if in Norway from .NO My WebpageBut still my web is not ready I don't do any steps to make it known (excepet TD.COM ). Dude, what phrases do You reccomend? As I saw on counter best engine are GOOGLE and practically all my visitors searching me by NAME - DARTSFILMZ.TV, but of course I want other phrases

Our site is there purely for commercial reasons. We are there to show our customers all of our services and provide details of how to contact us. We aren't in it to win the best looking site on the planet. Sorry we like to make our website profitable instead. QUOTE Here is my Australian Dealer PS. I think we may have tinted your Aussie suppliers car.

Olfa... I just checked out your site, and the html doesn't have any keywords programmed in. You can check that yourself by right clicking on a background area of your page, and 'viewing the source.' Keywords are coded like this:
<META http-equiv="KEYWORDS" content="insert your keywords here">

I do not market mine as a way of creating new business. I use it to help close the bids.
Some do call and tell us they found us on the web only instead of the marketing we do.

sounds like he is using a type of masking with keywords added in the meta tags invisibly. That's what I'm doing. It works great too. I think maybe spiders can get it easier or it just keeps it hidden from normal users. Only I can see mine on my net server control panel.

smart pages and transwestern are the two big YP ads here. Even a small listing in them gets you a free listing on the internet by default. That will be my next consideration

It's tough to balance between optimization and a "clean" looking, non-cluttered site. We've worked on our site for the past 2 years and are probably only at 50% of where we want to be - www.premiermobilegroup.com

Hate to bump up an older thread - but I'm trying to look into different marketing companies and what they can offer as far as making it easier to find your website. The one I was going to use a friend of mine works at... http://www.jambomedia.com but they have a min. $$$ of $500, which is more then I can afford right now. (last week he said $100 would be fine - now it's not (I'd rather use that $ to book a home show in a couple months) Right now you can't find me in google or yahoo.. but I don't have much of a website either, which could be why. The website should be done within a week... hopefully sooner. I've gotten a couple people who have gotten my # from this site, so there are those who look and I just want to get out there even more if possible. I just don't want to go broke doing it. Any suggestions on marketing companies that do that type of stuff?? Thanks!! RoAcH

QUOTE (jerseysfinest @ Jul 16 2004, 06:54 PM) [*]176888[/*] Hey are you guys using Pay per click technology? The best SEO strategy is a combination of PPC (pay per click) and organic SEO such as backlinks from other sites. If you add the legwork required for Google to rate your site a "trusted" reference you can easily get up to $2k/month ... and any good SEO provider will tell you that it takes at least 3 months to start seeing substantial return. Therefore, for $6,000 you can likely be routinely at the top of every search in your geographic area. We are already spending alot more than that to bring EDUCATED qualified leads to you at www.tintbuyer.com. If you want to receive leads in your email inbox from educated consumers, go to www.tintbuyer.com/dealer. Just like TintDude provides the world's best forum for our industry, Tintbuyer.com provides the most comprehensive, independent, consultant to our customers.

Hello everyone. I have been tinting for 15 years now and have also been into the import car scene for about 25. My business has picked up alot since I incorporated my online car magazine with my tint business. I'm on at least 30 different message boards and a sponsor on five with a banner ad one. In my opinion this is the most effective way to advertise is going straight to the car community. Most forums only ask about $100 a month for advertising. Right now I can reach over 100,000 people in my area for about $300 per month. Forums also allow you to communicate directly with customers.
Check out how I incorporated my online magazine and tint. Visit tunerlifestyletv.com
