Honda Civic 3 Door (Split Rear Door)fimmounless you have some serious experience, i wouldnt recommend you do the rear glass on this car! if you are going to attempt it, allocate more time than normal and be prepared for a lot of grief, this window pops up while the rest of the door goes down, the glass has the wiper on it, the wipers power cables, a very bad set of frit lines (like dot matrix but in strips) and a pair of struts to lift the window up. shrinking the tint is easy enough but getting it to stick is a job in itself, i'm about to retint one of these rear windows as the customer isn't happy with how i've done it, this time i've been instucted to sand down the frit, hope it works! jj Dude are you talking about a CRV that poor excuse for an off road vehicle?? TintWizard this thread was dealt with earlier in another thread I think unless this was someone else ..if it's the same person, the car came back, he redid th back window and learned some tips along the way . It was a a 2dr civic hatchback older style jj Thanks for clearing that up Wizard. Zrok yeah, it's probably a '93 'hatchback' i know the one, got that funky little 'spoiler' thing above the back glass, and the 'hatchback' has a 'tailgate' like a truck.....'POS' in my opinion, i dont like doing them either.
