Feeding the Film

The trick to this technique is feeding the film into the area that you are shrinking. As the film shrinks it will draw more film into the area you are working. As it shrinks, feed more film to the area by not pulling as hard. It takes some time to get a feel for it. Lift the tint to about a 20 or 30 degree angle off the glass and pull it snug, begin heating where the film meets the glass. A wide area will shrink instead of just a finger shaped area.
