Re: Tinting rear window that is plexi glass............ It will stick fine until the sun hits it and then the gasses emitted from the plexi cause air bubbles in the film. Then the customer wants it warrantied and you go to strip it and scratch the crap out of the plexi removing the old film.

Re: Tinting rear window that is plexi glass............ dont do it unless its something that can be replaced easily, another alternative is to use static cling film, you can get that at walmart, lowes.

Re: Tinting rear window that is plexi glass............ if you think it is not glass i would not want to strip it either. if its acrylic, plexi,or lexan you would have to be careful cleaning the adhesive off and not use any abrasive that could distort or scratch it.

Re: Tinting rear window that is plexi glass............ i had limo on a shop door for years and it was ok until a football cracked it hahah. if the plexi window doesnt get out in the elements, tinting it will work fine.

Re: Tinting rear window that is plexi glass............ Ya if it doesn't get any heat then it should be fine. Plexi is a petroleum product and when it gets hot it emits gas causing bubbling.
