Q: Any of you companies out there ever been aproached by car clubs or racing teams to sponsor them?

Just recently I was E-mailed by a guy that is part of a car club wanting to know if i would sponsor there cars by providing my product (ppf) to them in return i would be able to put a logo on them and get recognition from it. I know some of the bigger companies have done it. I just want some feed back on any experiances that any of you may have had.

A: I sponsor two race cars. They are small time sprint cars. One of them won the championship last year and the other did last year. I dont think that I have gotten a bit of business out of it, but it is still fun. I dont give any money- just PPF and occasional detail jobs.

A: We sponsor a sprint car, a SCCA champ car and a formula Porsche, all have won there prosepctive classes. We have not seen any direct business from this but we have a great time and we get into all the races for free!!! Plus I figure any where you can get a logo is a plus in our book..
