If you rinse down the car that you are working on to remove all the dust from the exterior of the vehicle, your tint jobs will come out alot cleaner. Right before removing the film liner, you should spray some water on the liner and its surrounding area to control the free floating dust that is in the air. Before handling the film, you should either wash your hands or spray your finger tips to ensure a clean install. If you don't have time to wash your hands, just keep a bucket of water with or without soap around the windows that you are working on and rub your hands in the water before handling the film. Also you should spray a little water on the inside of the car, especially if it is a cloth interior before you tint the back window. Hope this little tip will help out in reducing some of the contamination in your tint jobs.

I would suggest the bucket of water be with soap and water vs. water only because the main reason the prints show up is because the oil content in human skin particularly in the fingertips. Thats why many tinters (myself included) spray their fingertips with soapy water before handling film.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
