TintMiester NEWBIE Posts: 1 (10/26/02 6:25:37 am) Steamers... I had a Jiffy Steamer, and it was lame, with the steam barely falling out the end of the hose. I recall people here talking about a different steamer, that jets the steam out the end... Could someone tell me where they got it, and the make/model of the steamer? Thanks TintDude Farmer Ted Posts: 5517 (10/26/02 6:39:10 am) Re: Steamers... ive seen it called a 'steam buggy', i guess you could get one on the net. mikewilliams4750 Posts: 3337 (10/26/02 7:00:20 am) ezSupporter Re: Steamers... i have seen the euro steamer at bestbuy, looks pretty good to me, but its like 150 bucks or something, some of the guys here were buying the walpaper steamer from lower and useing that and its like 50 bucks. the jiffy steamer at times pushes steam pretty good but the hose gets clogged up with water and you have to keep emptying the hose for it to work properly. The buggy is pressurized, but it didnt help at all for stripping. mikewilliams4750 Posts: 3340 (10/26/02 7:47:07 am) ezSupporter Re: Steamers... really........now thats what i have been waiting to hear. i wasnt wure if the pressurized part was good or not, screw it if its no hot enough. If the jiffy had a nozzle that size it would come out faster too, but you have to focus the damn thing right where you are peeling instead of a larger area like with the jiffy. I think the steam buggy/ euro steamer would be better for clothes or spot cleaning. mikewilliams4750 Posts: 3342 (10/26/02 8:02:30 am) ezSupporter Re: Steamers... for me to poop on. :coffee TintDude Farmer Ted Posts: 5525 (10/26/02 8:07:15 am) Re: Steamers... :lol tintman97 Posts: 41 (10/26/02 8:30:15 am) Re: Steamers... come on fells go to home depot and put together a new nozzle for ur jiffy steamer. I wouldn't mind paying comercial price for a heavy duty comercial steamer, that REALLY pumped it out, but I havn't been able to find anything that seems to fit the bill.
