Mirror Bracket Tip

Mirror Bracket Tip:

Whenever you do a windshield strip on big vehicles like trucks and vans, It's hard to look straight down on the windshield and cut around the mirror bracket like this:

When that happens, I use a mirror to get a view from up above while I view from an angle:

It's like how a dentist works on the back of your teeth.

I make my own mirror by taking a plain piece of glass and putting silver film on one side and black vinyl on the other. This works better than a store bought mirror because with regular mirrors you sometimes get double reflections. Also, with this, it's covered on both sides so if you drop it, it won't break everywhere.

If I weren't the one taking the picture, I'd have shown myself cutting the film with my other hand...
