75 camaro. he's got $10K in the engine alone. i'm not fond of the white seats, but that what it had original so that's what he put back in it. my kid loves that car. every time he hears my dad drive up in it he starts yelling "hot rod".
Mdog
i`d be yelling the same thing

I did a black suburban presta ultra then 2000 then 5 polish 2 coats then 2 polish 1 coat the old fellow that owned it paid 200.00 for me to do last thursday.Friday he showed up at 805 am with 99 black tahoe of his wifes who was out of town to do the same. His daughter said she had never seen a car glow like that and made him do moms car . 400.00 that was a good referral !!!! The 5 polish before the 2 is really the key to wet look,I got some presta Ultra gloss foam pad glaze Im going to try on a black car next then 5 polish then 2 polish just to see if I can get a little deeper fasterrrrrrr!

that's a good price. i charge $75 to do a brand new one. and i do mean brand new, has to have just come from the dealership and better not have all that silicon crap that dealerships spray all over them.
for used ones, i usually don't do them unless i'm REALLY slow. but i charge $250 to buff them with presta, clay bar it, and 1 coat of Z-1, Z-5, and Z-2. but i put the Z-16 on the tires, and Z-6 the entire thing before they pick it up.
bandit, if you haven't bought the Z-6 yet, BUY IT! it's one of the best zaino products there is.

looks nice!!!

Sounds like there's a shitload more to detailing than I ever imagined.
TTS,
Do you use the same concepts of traditional detailing with Zaino products or do they work differently than traditional polishes, waxes and glazes etc?
I've been doing some research on Zaino on the net and in independent tests they've blown just about everybody clear out of the water.
Zaino treated panels after 30-days still beaded up the water and held some shine where the other panels looked like they'd never been treated at all.
This stuff apparently is everything you said it was.
I have yet to come across anything to date that knocks the product.

The more coats..the better reflection and lightreflection and it does a dancing effect..I did my 96 red vette and for a week I added another sealant also for 2 days"24 hour intervel" then2 more Zaino then topped of with some Pinnacle's Sov wax and it was so hot under the lights at night..I would just sit and stare

That Zaino stuff looks like it is the shizz. I would like to get what I would need for my own wheels in the future. My truck's color is black.
shop
the basics are Z-1, Z-2, and Z-6.
for it to look really awesome, get Z-1, Z-2, Z-5, Z-6, Z-7, and Z-18.

where can I get info on these products or even better where can I get them at? If it is a tightlipped ordeal, please PM me. That camaro looks badazz, I want my truck to shine like that.
bandit
Go to WWW. Zaino.com if TTS hasnt became a Zman dealer yet
I must have had my finger over the lense on the last one
2 coats of Z5 and 1 coat of Z3 after a quick polishing glaze...no buffing or compounding ...just polishes

they're fun to zaino when you get them to that stage.
what bandit said, just go to www.zainobros.com
you can order from there or i can give you the info to order from my dad. he's a zaino dealer. price is the same no matter if you get them from a dealer or from the site.

I am going to try the website. I see they are located in New Jersey. I took into consideration what you had stated earlier in this thread about what exactly to get. I will go with the "total protection show car kit". That black corvette on their website looks phenomenal and I hope to get that look on my truck at some time. I'm "in" with a local detail shop, my next time there I am going to ask these guys if they use any of these products. Also thanks for the info about the price deal.
