    Contamination issue

It never hurts to try new tools so you can go right back to what you were using before 😂

I think my feature wall is coming along really well. The youngest stepdaughter still has to outline the letters but it is pretty much done. I had to build(make) all of the " T's " and the " i " but all in all it came out nice.

'evening all.... Took a last min ride over to Philly today. Was bored... wanted to ride someplace new. A couple buddies were going over, but they ride somewhat on the wild (ie illegal) side, and I just wanted to chill. So I went solo... rode around a bunch of places. Took a few pics. Went down by the river but too many people to try and ride 'off the path' to get good pics. Maybe at like sunrise when no one is out... Anyway... here are a couple that came out decently.

Yes just pull the from the top toward the middle of the car. It’s held in by clips and a bungee cord so don’t pull to far. Once out take the cord off of the panel. There’s also another plastic retainer that’s made to keep the panel in place once the airbags deploy. That you need a 90 degree pick. It has four retaining clips two on top and two on the bottom. Just pull and pick the clips up to get it out of the sheet metal. Once out grab the panel and pull towards the front of the car. This will make the install a breeze. I usually tape all the modules to prevent slip from getting in as there a lot of slip with a glass this big. Use microfiber rope at the bottom of the glass to soak up excess moisture.

was thinking the same thing these situations are posted here all the time and even with both sides of the story, we still don't know who is to blame and no one here can make that call. i see a bunch of scenarios here 1) car was scratched when it went in 2) shop scratched car on accident and knows about it and is denying it 3) car got scratched at shop and no one even realized it 4) customer got a scratch after leaving 5) someone walked by car while it sat in shops parking lot and scratched it on accident 6) customer stops for gas on the way to shop and it gets scratched 7) probably others you can come up with..... i've accidentally damaged cars in my shop before(after almost 30 years, you're gonna have a couple) and i've paid to get them fixed. but i've also been blamed for damage i didn't do and i will NEVER bend to paying for that. i, for one, am not a believer that the customer is always right because too many people take advantage of a situation.

Stuck Homer in the corner by the snacks. Going to be pretty funny seeing some people's expressions cause I think it's going to catch some off guard.

Call the shop. Tell them you have a slight issue and you would like to schedule a time for someone to look over the vehicle. Bring the car and your pictures back to the shop. Tell them your issue. Allow them a chance to rectify the matter. If it was darker than permitted by law in your state, that’s likely why there wasn’t a warranty card given. If it is legal shading, then ask for the warranty card and written receipt. If they’re a professional shop, they will do what they can to make it right.

this is a pretty neat car I did. It’s called a Holden from Australia. Was kinda like an Impala with a 6.2 in it.

Tinted my first old Mustang today. One of the very first ones, a 1964 1/2! The install came out super clean and the customer was beyond pleased. 😁
