  1. Michigan Windshield Tint

Well ya I can't be in every courtroom at once, it's physically impossible
  2. Michigan Windshield Tint

Troops have tried for years to interpret the law as you did, and they fail everytime in court if they write someone a tint ticket when they have an exemption note. Not trying to be a dick, just giving the guy the right answer.
  3. Michigan Windshield Tint

Not sure where this came from, but that's not how the actual law is written. If you have a note/script in Michigan you can install whatever you want as long as it's not over 35% reflectivity.

However, the special window treatment or application shall not interfere with or obstruct the driver's clear vision of the highway or an intersecting highway."

The troop is right, the script is all you need. Some officers in Michigan seem to think you need it added to your license as a restriction, that's not true. With a note from a doctor or optometrist in Michigan you can tint your windows any shade you want including the windshield. I personally had 35% on my windshield for a few years and loved it. Depending on your headlights a 55% would be better. I have been following Hb5634 for a possible tint law change in Michigan.

10mm screw behind the door handle, and a philips screw on the outside of the door panel. I removed both of these and it gave me enough room to pull the sweeps without removing the whole panel. The back window was a pain. Easy shrink once you get the pattern cut out. The wiper mount is in the middle of the pattern on the bottom, and the top of the window meets right up to the spoiler with no room to cut around the border. When I get another I'll be removing the spoiler.
  9. Small Miscut, Should I Ask for Fix?

    That should be redone...

Tried to pop or pull the top of these panels back yesterday. Couldn't for the life of me get them to come loose? Ended up having to take the whole panel off

did one of these yesterday. Normally I am a panel puller, but i found these to be a pain to take off. The clips do not separate from the sweep as easy as the charger or 300's do. As stated above, the sweeps are loose. If you are dead set on panel pulling, there are (5) 7mm screws for the back panels. One behind the door opening handle. one at the very bottom of the door panel. The other three are around the pull handle/window switch. The pull handle must be taken off to get to the two behind it. Not sure on number of screws for fronts, as I tucked those.
  12. There are 3 rolls of suntek carbon 40x100 on ebay for $150 each. they have 5,18,and 35. If you do use suntek carbon, this is a great deal to get the rolls at a much cheaper price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Window-Tint-18-40x100-Ft-Suntek-Window-Film-/181954456831?hash=item2a5d54acff:g:CTQAAOSwu4BV6cHh&vxp=mtr

I pulled the panels on on the front, one 7mm behind the handle, and two 8mm just below the handle. For the rear I removed the 7mm behind the handle, but I pulled the top back and grabbed the seal out. To put the rear back on I flexed the top of the panel. The rear should really be removed to get the sweep, but I could not figure out where to get to the screws holding the panel on. The rest of the car was simple.
