  1. I don't know why I didnt think of that simple idea lol I guess I'm so used to doing everything over the internet nowadays They are both located close to me, but are both "mobile tinters" I'll call and see if I can schedule a product review, I know previously when I have visited tint shops it was hard to tell any difference from their small 6'x6' samples
  2. Trust me, I've done my research prior. $220 is the regular price for 5 windows on a sedan, discounted to $140 due to Groupon. Yes they use cheaper film, but both shops offer lifetime warranty on labor and fading/bubbling. Since that is the case, my only question is which film has a better color. Some films offer a Charcoal and Black color. I'm looking for more of a Black tint since my car is black. Not a fan of the Charcoal color. Thanks
  3. Actually it does. There's brands that bubble, fade, and fail at 1 year. So yes, it does matter what brand.
  4. I just dont plan on keeping this car more than 3 years, so its hard for me to justify spending more than $200 for the whole car.
  5. Where exactly are yall located?? I wouldn't mind driving to support you guys! What tint do yall use?
  6. I'm from Atlanta too! (Well, actually NE of Atlanta in Gainesville) Know any good shops around my area?
  7. I'm leaning towards Aegis as well. Thats just based on the specs also, but real world experience means more in my opinion.
  8. So there are 2 Groupons for shops that will do my Nissan Maxima for $140. I'm going to do 20% all around. Does anyone have a preference when it comes to either Aegis Raven Select or MaxPro Max Jet Films?? I'm looking for the blackest film, or close to factory tint. Any opinions would help as I am used to using LLumar, Suntec, and 3M films. Thanks guys!!

  10. Where did I say he will be installing outside? That's a negative. He will be installing inside.
  11. That looks good! What do they call their economy line? The lines I see are Charcoal HP, Neutral HP, Raven Select Charcoal, Classic NR, and Pro Series HP? Have you noticed any negatives about the film? Discolor, doesn't adhere well to dot matrix or defrost lines, etc. Thanks!
  12. Does anyone have pictures of Aegis film installed on any vehicles? If so, please post your pictures with information regarding the type of Aegis film used and the percentage. Thanks in advance!
  13. Thanks for the responses. Looks like I will go with the Raven Select to achieve the "blackest" look. I would like the advantage of a metal film for the heat reduction, but not at the expense of having a green hue in the film. I don't plan on keeping this car long, maybe 3 years, hence why I am using a installer that uses cheaper film. $150 for the whole car, plus windshield strip, and the guy will come to my work and install.
  14. Hello, First post here. I am having my car tinted within the next week (20% all around) and have a few questions regarding Aegis films. For those of you who have used Aegis films, would you prefer the Raven Select (multi-layered dyed film) or the High Performance Charcoal Series (metal/deep dyed charcoal hybrid)? These films are what my friend/installer uses. Main factors that are important: 1. Looking for the "blackest" film 2. Film that adheres to dot matrix and defrost lines Please share your experiences and share photos if you have them! Thanks!
