    Wrapping the hood

I always struggle to get these fingers down when I'm wrapping edges. Any tips on how to get them down? I've been told tack solution but it doesn't work. My tack solution is 15% alcohol and 85% water in a 16oz bottle.

    Water bubbles In PPF

Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone has tips or some sort of process you execute in order to not have water bubbles in your ppf. I'm told if the size of the bubble is smaller than a nickel it will go away through the heat of the sun. If the bubble is bigger than a nickel it needs to be popped using a needle. Please let me know your thoughts and any tips that work for you. Thanks a lot!

First time doing Paint Protection Film.

Thank you everyone for the help to get the fingers did go down. I also ran into 2 other problems. One of them is dust in the film. Do you guy have any tips on that. When i was getting trained they said to wash the panel 2 to 4 times, then alcohol wipe, then squeegee the area. Also keep the floor wet so dust doesn't fly around. But i still get dust in my film. Second problem is the ppf shows peeling on the edges. All the yellow in the photo is the area that's peeling off. Is there any tip on how to make sure it doesn't peel in the future.

First time doing Paint Protection Film.

I used a center tack approach. Once I get to the edges I get a lot of fingers which give me a lot of trouble to put down. Also any idea how to prevent dust and water bubbles or is it normal to have those?

Yes i was using baby shampoo as slip. Also when I dried out the fingers on the edge they went down as dry marks. Am I doing something wrong?
  7. This was my first time doing ppf. I came across some issues. The issues were water bubble, dust, peeling & what I think is adhesives of the film. Can any one help me to fighter out how to prevent this from happening in the future. I also experienced a lot of issues wrapping the edges of the hood. I got fingers across every edge that I had trouble putting down. It took a lot of time and some of them ended up as dry marks. Is there a process to putting fingers down? I'm using SunTek Ultra as my film.
