3 years for a sun strip....did you mention the pound of crank in the backseat, or were you hoping that would get thrown out cause no officer from 50ft away can tell when half the damn windshield is tinted.....jack wagon.
LOL if he can afford a lawyer and appeals, I'm sure he's just visiting old friends.
This Sounds like an appeal case for , RON THE LAWYER!
well being called a smart azz by a LAWYER means a ton to me.
he should just go to craigslist and look for ads for 49.00 tint . Im sure they would have no problem giving "expert testimony"
As a side note, I was surprised no one would step up and testify as an expert. I spoke with several local people who would have made ideal witnesses, but fear of reprisals from the police, apparently, won the day.
Maybe next time come off of them lawyer fees a little. There is only a couple things I'd do for 200 and sit in court half the day just to testify for someone who probably deserves to go to jail is not one of them.
most people could tell the visor strip ticket worthy from across the parking lot during the day. if you can see the wide dark band across the windowshield its problem not right .
Have you seen where the AS1 line is on the newest body style Altimas?? Dang near a foot down...
Don't drive dirty
I read this the other night and well, I would have testified. I believe even the guilty deserve a defense. And if his car was illegally searched then to bad... throw it out and move on. Police officers who do not follow appropriate procedure put us all at risk!
I am a tinter and after reading this I drove around the HEB parking lot to see if I could tell if a strip was legal or illegal just by driving by. You can't! On some cars the AS1 line is 2 inches and on others it is 5 inches.
