Nanoflex vs CTX and Crystalline

Recommended Posts

If anyone is interested in showing clients the true performance of films the previous two posts have the answer. The EDTM SS2450 meter is with out a doubt the most accurate means of showing a films performance. In fact, that meter is almost as accurate (+/- 2%) as the 100K$ photospectrometers used by mannies, independent labs and NFRC.

When the meter hit the market there was nervousness among the mannies that it would be too accurate and embarrass many film suppliers. I believe that was one reason my boss and I were commissioned with looking at films, both in-house and competitive in our last year at the manny. I also believe we were two of three who no longer work there that knew too much in that regard.

Be aware, the meter is pricey at or around 1000K$ but, it will do its job better than any light bulb will.

Edit: You can check published numbers against this meter, too. It'll weed out the false reporting.

Here is a list of Chinese Supercars...some have very good printed specs that could be better than it's competitor.  However, I am sure most people will stick with buying Lamborghini, Ferarri, and McLaren.

100% It dont matter if the specs is that much better.  Even if it had insane stopping, launch and cornering it still doesn't have the reputation that Lamborghini, Ferarri or Mclaren has.

Shouldn't this discussion be under rice burner thread?
