Recommended Posts

long story short ive self taught myself years ago on how to window tint.and i even learned on my own cars and i tried to do it as a side business but i didnt have a garage so it kind of hurt me.ive tried to get a job at certain places just for entry level but they wont hire me or even let me show them i can tint cars.i finally quit and fast forward to now im actually thinking about doing it again because im really trying to change careers.whats the best way to actually get a entry level position in this position?

thats it.......just go in and let them know your ready to start!

Show up when their tinter is at lunch.  To show them your skills...maybe tear off a panel and bomb drop or just start shrinking the bg if its really curvy. They’ll surely let the guy go and give you the job.

I was out of town and visited a few shops just to see how other areas and other shops do things.

Met a tinter at one of the shops that said he has worked all over the country. Each time he simply walked in and asked if the shop needed any help. He then offered to tint a car on their schedule that day for them for free to show them his skills.
