I wrapped my whole car successfully. However, my front bumper doesn’t fit on the car after I wrapped. First, I removed my bumper. Second I removed all of the grills and install the bumper back. Third, I wrapped it and removed back to install grills. Finally, I tried to put my bumper back on, but it doesn’t fit. Does anybody know what is the reason?

I am new at wrapping. I have watched tons of video. I have put stripes on my Jeep with no problem. I am good on hoods or body panels, but I am trying to wrap the fenders and this is proving to be tough. I have the Sahara with the painted fenders but I want them wrapped in a different color. Have any of you seen video on how to wrap the jeep fenders? They stick way out and have lots of curves. I can get the flat surfaces just fine, but it gets bunched up in the inside corners of the fenders and I haven't figured out how to straighten that out. I appreciate any help! Thanks!

I got my car wrapped about 2 months ago in Avery Dennison Gloss Light Blue by a reputable shop in CA. After the initial wrap, a suction cup-looking mark showed up on the trunk. It bagged at my OCD for a bit but they told me sometimes there will be imperfections in the adhesive and that it’s just unavoidable sometimes. I got over it. Now 2 months later, it seems that these marks are increasing in presence, mostly on the vertical surfaces. There HAS to be a fix to this right? It’s driving me crazy. I don’t want to see my money go to waste and have to get it redone. If that is the case I’m just going to get my car Autodipped. But does anyone know of what is happe…

Hey everyone, So I just got the new 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T in white and I wanted to wrap the roof in vinyl black. However, I found out that Honda manufactured the car so that the roof and the sides are one piece (ive attached a link to the images). I really dont know much about car wraps but I watched videos where people wrap the roof of their cars and the wraps were folded into the gaps that separate the roof and the side door piece, which was then covered by that black trim piece. I was wondering if wrapping my roof is still possible and whether there are any other solutions. Thanks. https://imgur.com/a/0ZhgY

I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can answer for me. I live in the southeast (USA) and environmental conditions are different when comparing the Northeast vs Midwest vs Southeast vs Southwest etc. If a car is not garage-kept, will wrap withstand the sun, rain and heat in hot climate? And particular type one should use in this type of climate? How long before it looks shabby?

Hi All, I was hoping for some advice and insight into what the best option is. I am organising a vehicle wrap for a couple of trucks and have contacted a few suppliers and they have pushed latex and vinyl options. The trucks will be around heavy industrial work (there is hydraulic acid in the facility), but the trucks won't touch it, just be near it. Anyone have experience and advice as to which is the better material? I am assuming the wraps would last for 3 - 4 years and from there they would need a refresh. Cheers!

This is a bit of an odd one, but I'm hoping someone here with vinyl wrapping experience can help. I am in the process of wrapping a PC case, and am having serious trouble figuring out how to wrap over and cut out for a small 1cm diameter hole. It's basically where a 3.5mm audio jack goes, but I cannot figure out how to do this and maintain a perfect circle where the vinyl wraps around the edge. I tried making cuts in a cross formation, but it ends up looking like a hexagon, not a perfect circle. Any tips on how I can achieve this. It is a very fiddly small shape. Thanks.

I purchased a fiberglass hardtop that is primered. It needs to be sanded and reprimered. I was going to have it painted but my question is can newly primered fiberglass be successfully wrapped? Will it still be able to be removed without damaging the fiberglass?. If so how long after its primered can it be wrapped? thanks in advance

Hi there, I have a white car that had it's roof and hood wrapped in matte vinyl, and after 2 years it looks unsightly therefore custy wanted wrap removed. With the vinyl lifted the white car now is now coloured beige - and that is with the gummy adhesive removed! Any ideas on removal of what seems to be adhesive that has leached into the clear coat ? Otherwise a respray seems to be the only option? Thanks

Any suggestions on keeping vinyl long term in the Body Indention at rear sides and rear with no glass on the Transits? I've wrapped quite of few now and I always use the same process. I have a few come back after a month or so with lifting. I always use 3M 94 primer and post heat. Any other installers struggling with this? Forgot to mention...I'm using 3M 1080CV3 with 8518 Lam.

Hi folks, I'm a 70 year old newbie to this process. I'm a former Industrial Arts Teacher and obsessive DIY'r. I'm a member of a Corvette club in northern NJ, and love modifying the appearance of my car. I discovered wrap a few years ago and truly enjoy it. My current project is to re-wrap my radio bezel and other hard bits on my dash. The radio bezel is going to be for the 5fth time! I used the wrong materials, overstretched and ripped other applications and thought I had the last one pretty good. (Arlon CF). However, after about a year, it is lifting in some of the inside corners near the HVAC and radio. I was hoping for some advice on how to prevent that this t…

I am working on some projects using 5mm MS steel plate in large irregular sizes. I am thinking to vinyl wrap these instead of powder coat painting the pieces. These pieces will stay indoors. I reading various posts regarding wrapping of bare or primered car surfaces there seems to be issues with unpainted surfaces being wrapped. Since my projects will not be exposed to the eviromental elements, can anyone give me any advice? Need and quality of pre-paint work? Type and quality of vinyl? Thanks

Hi everyone, I have a Graphtec plotter. Does anyone know if I can buy graphic patterns only, to cut it myself without having to subscribe to a software or pay for a full yearly software licence? I install PPF and vinyl graphics, right now I use 3M Digital Designs for my PPF templates and they have PPF only, with a few tint cuts. So I'm wondering if any company out there sell only the design that I could for instance, cut it myself using Graphtec Cutting Master or any other cutting software. I contacted Film and Vinyl Designs and they were awesome, but I'm not familiar with the graphic designs that they carry and my installations for graphics are not on that volume yet…

Hey Guys! I'm new to the whole Vinyl Wrap community and figured I'd join a forum and post for some knowledge and assistance!! So I've decided to wrap a Del Sol I have just for fun. I simply want to learn a new skill while at the same time make the car look good. I say that to say that I do have the option to get my car painted, I simply choose not to because I find vinyl wrapping extremely intriguing. That being said, I did the first thing professional wrappers tell you not to do. I purchased cheap ebay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262298522623?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&var=561472803192&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Some say that it is possible to install …
