Top of panels pull right back. I did take the screw out from behind the door handle. And the damn thing needs felt like every other new POS.

Relatively easy to pop off and get back on. Still a pain in the gimmicks to get back there though, especially for us LARGER Hookers.....

Easy as pie here.... Knocked it out fairly quickly. I did pull the panels despite only having to pop it to pull the sweeps....it's only three screws so no biggie. I did notice the door windows seem rather long. Overal not a bad car.

Small sporty rear drive coupe with 200hp. Windows are super easy, except the third brakelight in the rear window that looks like it was pilfered from a Lexus GS. Didn't know how to remove it, so I slipped the film behind it and used my long tools to squeegee the solution out. If anyone figures out how to remove that monstrosity, please share!

First one in and I just tinted it. Same easy car but the back glass is even bigger than the previous model....I use 40" rolls and there was only a couple spare inches left. Strange styling with a boxy look at the front, especially the windshield/A pillar area. Dual sunfoofs too. I think I like the old styling better, but they'll probably sell millions.

Hi next week I am going to attempt at tinting my TC is there any special thing I should know to do the tint? Like do the door panels have to come off and such thing? I ordered pre cut tint that fits exact and a tinting kit and have been watching alot of DIY and want to do this as a hobby if mine turns out I'm thinking of buying a roll and attempting the cut and everything on my wifes 98 Saturn SL if anyone has any tips at all please let me know thanks Jay

ok so I did this scion tc and everything went great....this car was a piece of cake I loved doing it and it is meant for tint with the double moon roofs, its all glass across the whole top...looks sweet....any way I did pull the panels just cause it was so easy to do so.....un hooked the power windows took the panels off hooked the switches back up to roll the windows up/down did the car no sweat....the girl said today that she cant control the passenger window from the drivers side console, the window controls on the passenger side work and the drivers side works for the drivers window, the controls are lit up, but the passenger control is blinking on both the drivers si…

Low angle haze
Im not that worried about brand recognition. Ive been getting work with Avery and its got little to no brand recognition as far as tint goes. I'm just looking for a good brand that I wont have an issue with. Avery is a fairly cheap option as far as Im aware, so I'm just getting ready to move into the big leagues with a more premium brand. Ive used STek's tint and I was pretty happy with the way it looked, shrank and the overall experience with customer service has been great too. I stopped using it because their specs feel like they are below par compared to the other premium brands. Specifically their TSER. Their NEX line seems to be compared to Xpel Prime XR Plus, but the specs were more on the line of Prime XR. Anyone know how that TSER number is calculated? Is it just a calculation combining light rejected, transmitted, reflected, etc? Looking into panaplex, autobahn, and global now. More specifically global because of recommendations. -

Low angle haze
I second the Global suggestion. If you can get past the color(khaki) of the 70% ceramic, it is the best performing film in their line. It has amazing heat rejection properties at a 70% film with very little low angle haze. I don't have anyone complain about it. If you install 50% on windshields then you will LOVE the Global 50% ceramic. One of the prettiest films i've dealt with and I would say "almost" zero low angle haze. It does not perform as well as the 70% in my opinion because they have almost the same "stats". @Dano Hang in there with the brand recognition. Just spit your knowledge and let them look it up if they want too. Global is my favorite of the "big 3" and the recognition is getting out there. -

Best place to learn window tint ppf
I am currently in the process of getting my detail business going in northern Alabama, and I feel that being able to add tint and ppf, would be a great addition and separate me from some other businesses. I have found a lot of these 2 day work shops, they range from 1 to 5 days, are any of them any good? I would assume the Xpel training etc would be quality, but I was hoping to find something a bit closer to home. I have no issue traveling but if I can find it here or like near Atlanta it would be a lot more convient. Any info on any of these class workshops would be appreciated, and if u got an idea I've overlooked. Let me know that as well,. Thx for the help fellas -

I've had good results with the Global so far. No minimum requirements but also not much brand recognition in my area. -

Basically, the technology that is blocking the heat is also creating the low-angle haze. Some films are worse than others, but they all have it. We've only had 2-3 customers complain about it in the last 10 years. So not a major issue at least for us.- 1

Low angle haze
I have been using Avery Dennison's NR Nano Ceramic IR but I keep seeing cloudy results or low-angle haze. I think some haze is acceptable as a trade-off for performance, but there are just some customers who may not be happy with the result. Does anyone know of a tint manufacturer that has little to no low-angle haze? Preferably one without a $10k minimum monthly buy-in or something crazy like that. Does this only affect ceramic tint? -

Colorado Tint & PPF installer(s) needed!
We are a business with many different dealer accounts all throughout the Denver area and we are in need of another installer or two. We need guys with experience that are dependable, have an eye for detail & are capable of turning out high quality work. Unfortunately we are not looking to hire/train someone with little to no experience at this time. At the very least, we need someone who's capable & comfortable with doing basic 18" Clear Bra's (Hood, Fenders, Mirrors, Door edge/Door Cups) as well as 2 window match/full tints by themselves. There is plenty of work for at least 1 possibly 2 full time installers and the pay is good.
