Same sort of trims as the 2014 3 series? Pop tops and pull gaskets? Anything to take extra care with Plastic blade for cleaning obviously!

I did one the other day. And rejoice! No DOTS on the top of the back glass! Easy car. Tight back seat. In case you don't know, the 4 series is the new 3 Series coupe.

I've got most of the screws out besides the one ones behind the wood grain molding. I tried removing the molding and I ended up chipping it with vey little pressure. Has anyone else found a way to remove this molding without damaging it? Is it possible to just pull the too of the door panels back to remove the window sweep?

I know my Scottish friend (Tint325i ? I think) has helped me with this in the past but I for the life of me can't figure out how to get the rear hat rack (rear deck out) of this BMW 535i. It was manufactured in 07-07 so its either an 07 or 08 I'm not sure. If anyone can offer advice on how to remove the rear deck it would be much appreciated.

Can you pull the gaskets out the same way as the older model BMW's without taking off the door panels? Or do panels have to be removed in order to remove the gaskets? Thanks in advance.

08 3 series sedan. Driver window. I've had this issue before but I only had to replace it once and then it was fine. I guess the moleskin is not staying held on and slipping down the track making a glue covered, window not rolling up, pita. Any suggestions?

How the hell do you get the tint on the front roll-ups into the front vertical gasket!?!?!? SO FREAKING TIGHT. It's an R&R job and the old tint was all the way in the so I wanna make it go all the way in (no pun intended).

I've watched this guys videos before to learn how to remove BMW panels. But he has a new one showing how to properly remove the 11+ 5-Series panels. Very handy for anyone who doesn't like to tuck these. http://www.bavsound.com/Stage-One/Installation/

Hey guys, just did one of these today, just wondering if any of you guys have figured out how to get the front gaskets out? The back roll down's aren't bad to tuck, the fronts suck though imo. Also does anyone know how to get the third brakelight out? I pulled the hedliner cover off to get to the light, like the 3 series, etc. Those are all just pull the hedliner cover off, then two pin-like things slide out to the side and it comes out, but this one wasn't like that... Thanks in advance for any help! Oh and btw the end product came out great, just took 2 trys for the front driver door. I was going to get a pic of it, but I was kind of in a rush and forgot too lol woops.

So What is the best way to fix this problem? Just putting felt over the plastic gasket that's doing it, or cutting the plastic part off? Thanks!

We tint BMW's every now and then, and while we haven't had a problem with them.... I'm hoping to get some insight from you guys work on them frequently. I keep reading about watching out for electronics under the deck lid or in the trunk. Does this go for all years/model BMW's? Or does this start after a certain year? Also, I've read that some of you squeegee solution toward the "safe side" of the back glass. What side would that be? Inquiring minds want to know.

Doing my first 2009 BMW 328i today for a dealership. This is also my first car with them as well, luckily their old tint shop became unreliable so while I was looking at cars the other day they just happened to ask me if I would start tinting for them and of course I took the offer. This is a major used car dealership in my area, woo hoo! Anyways I was wanting to know if anyone could give me some tips and pointers for this car. I did a little bit of searching on this make and model and found other years and it looks like there has been a little debate over removing the rear deck in previous and newer models, is this necessary? Door panels need to be removed? I pick …

07 3 series 4 door. After I installed the film on rear driver side door I tried to roll the window up and it rolled all the way down and wouldn't come back up. I had to use the driver switch to roll it up and it worked fine. I told the customer to give a few days to see if it fixes itself. Why did it do that?

windows should be shrunk a bit before install. ive had problems with puckering from the bottom. also if your one to cut by hand dont double up. the one I did had a driver side window that was about 1/4" larger so there would have been a light gap if sized the same as the passenger. rear window is nice because you can section off the brake light and have it exposed or cover it up based on what the custy wants becasue there are dot matrixes below it and also above it to border the window. I couldnt find a way to remove the heardrest so I left them in and used my slim foot.
