The back glass got even smaller and lays at an even lower angle. I couldnt even squeegee the bottom with my stroke doctor and had to just flush the bottom 5 inches or so. Just ordered another titan for the next ones. Also, the bg is not as wide...:i pulled out film for the bg from a 40" roll and used the scrap for one of the roll ups.

I've done 2 of these and had trouble with both. How do you get the tint behind the side seals and not kink the crap outta the tint? I don't remove door panels.

was gonna do 5% all around but doing 5% over the stock would be alittle to dark. Would using 15% over the factory tint match 5%?

Has anyone pulled the sweeps or panels? I fished the film in without much problem using an easy reach. This truck is very clean, I don't know if I would have as much luck with a filthy one.

Tips for tinting the Chevrolet Cruze 1. Rear brake light can be removed via 2 15 torx screws from within trunk. (need long bit/screw driver)(easy) 2. connection to wiring harness has secondary locking clip (grey) remove, black connection little tricky to remove sometimes.(easy)

Im having troubles finding a good way to cut the vent window pattern. Also any tips for 4 piece rear window? Do you trim a little of the gasket on inside of glass? Any help is appreciated!

This car is easy pull panels due to high plastics in front. The film will fall in there like butter. film design prints are on point with widths. If you are into upsizing and recutting the top edge by hand its off by a little bit but not bad.

Customer wants me to to his old bel air... took a quick glance at the rear window on this and cringed. I can't find much for tinted bel airs online Is it even possible? There's obviously no defroster lines so a 2pc is out of the question.

On these model truck I always get it to the top corner and crease it up most of the time. Not always, but it usually doesn't end up well. My problem is only on this body style truck and in the top corners of the windshield. I think it is because these top corners have more of a curve to them. Any advice or tricks to master these windshields?

I am having troubles with the silverado windshield brows. I heat shrink them on the outside and it seems to lay down fine but when I apply it to the inside I keep getting fingers mainly around the sides, so I try to push them vertical to shrink it more and sometimes it works and sometimes its a pain and they don't want to go away. Anyone have any answers to this?

Any feed back on this hot rod? Tinted my first one yesterday, pulled panels and trim on front doors...saw no other way to do it without the nasty side creases. Rolled the rears down low to catch all the edges. Lastly the back window had alot of contaminate stuck on it...WTF? (that could have just been my bad luck)

Side windows are about the same but the back window is a pita not a lot of room to work.

Anyone ever done one of these? Everything was pretty strait forward but when I try to install the back glass piece the sides curl off. Doesn't seem to make a difference if i shrink it all the way to the edge or just the middle portion that isn't curved... Any tips would be awesome!

What is my problem with the small curves on the Malibu, and charger as well. Three weeks ago a Malibu rolls in I've tinted 2 prior and both were a pita! This one was bad I couldn't get my top corners to form. I was using ATC, dry soap shrink. H, anchor . Tint makes huge fingers in top corners to form down and just before I get it past border **** creases on me. When I split fingers and heat it down the next finger starts moving horizontal and gets worse the more I pull and shrink. Same spot on the newer chargers. I nail the rest of cars just as easy as the rear looks. Tinting is fun work until one of these roll in here. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks

All I can say is cool! I quoted as if it was a PITA vette and this one shows up. I got two this week actually. Anyhow, just overcut the tint and shrink slow on the sides and you'll be gravy. Then trim and do a finishing shrink, BAM! Oh ya, matrix up top.. I glue em' word

This is a 01 ZO6 with ATC 5 doors and rear glass, I know it is illegal, but one of the perks when you are a cop I guess.

Yes I really have a customer asking about tinting one. Haven't seen the car, so I don't know if its nice and restored/show car or if its just an old pile. I normally don't touch anything that old, but thought maybe I'll see if I can help the guy out. Any tips? Looks like no black border on any of the rear windows? I fear the amount of dust/dirt that will be living in that car. And the door panels will probably disintegrate when being removed.

just did the front doors, and sort of tricky, I normally pull rubbers BUT on this one I didn't. They have the similar door panels to the new full size trucks but the door panel swoops up high near the front edge, and the plastic seems to thin to be prying on, so I just stuck and tucked it without to much of an issue (proper tools of course) unless someone has a better explanation on how to get the rubbers out, I did not want to risk breaking clips.

Easy doors with little to no shrinking, 1/4's are easy with matrix, but the back glass needs some super sonic shrinking, since it curves a lot vertically (like cobalt and charger) 3rd brake light has plenty of room. I might pull the front panels next time, since the panel is raised at the top in the front corner and its really tight.

Hey all, I took on a project to see if I am ready or able to do it yet. It is an R & R of a, yep you guessed it 1991 Camaro. Well the removal went very well. Removal of purple hazy film is complete. I attempted to shrink the backglass. I anchored across the middle and started attempting the mdog soap method. The shrink did not go well. I have read on here about not shrinking the camaro. Seems to me one would have to but this is my first camaro. Anyway any advice on how you do a successful backglass of this car. The owner has no idea if it is factory glass or not. Thanks all.
