98 Civic sedan quarter tips 1 2

Hi I'm from Poland so forgive the grammatical errors: D I have a problem with the quarter windows in my 1998 Honda Civic sedan. How perfect to make these windows from the outside it looked nice. The inner gasket is very hard and I can not push the film under it. I would add that the problem is only with the gasket between the side window and quarter window. This gasket is the same size on the outside and inside. Surely you are among the professionals who know the solution to the problem:) Pictures would be very helped me. Greetings from Poland and I waiting for tips from you.

06 Honda Accord 4dr

I plan to tint a 06 Honda Accord. Georgia tint law is Front Side Windows Must allow more than 32% of light in. Back Side Windows Must allow more than 32% of light in. Rear Window Must allow more than 32% of light in. I plan to use Suntek carbon 35% for all the windows. One question I have is will it pass the tint meter test. I heard the factory windows already have some tint on it so to calculate it you would minus 7% from the tint you want to equal the total amount of VLT there is. If I minus then it will be 28%. I would like to know if this is true. Thanks.

I just remembered that when I did one of these a couple months ago the rear deck was a million times harder to take out than expected. The side panels do pop out, but with all your strength. The third brake light is really deep and I felt more comfortable taking the shelf out rather than get a weak pass with something. Nowhere near the fun of the sedan, couldve done two sedans in the time I spent on this coupe.

2010 HONDA CIVIC AM RECEPTION
by Guest GTSPAUL- 4 replies
- 2.9k views
We did a 2010 Honda Civic 4dr with Solar Gard HP Supreme 42 on sides and 35 on back window the customer left Friday and had no issues, today (Tuesday) he noticed the am reception was horrible but it was fine over the weekend. Customer took it to Honda dealer and a few hours and numerous tests later they determined it is the tint? Why then, does the am reception work fine when the car is in accessory mode (not running), but when you start it the receptions gone? Oh and to top it all off the dealer is looking to have us (or my customer) pay his labor for all the research. I offered to peel the tint off the rear and let him drive around and see if it is the problem I guess…

2006 Accord Coupe Defroster Reflection after Tint 1 2
by Guest kman08- 17 replies
- 5.7k views
I have a 2006 Accord Coupe. I got 8% tint on the back window with non metallic Solar Gard film. The sides are 22% metallic Solar Gard film. The tint has been there for almost a month now and every time I drive at night, headlights would reflect off my back window like crazy. It is almost impossible to drive at night time with all the reflection. The reflection is off the defrosters. I took it back to the shop and they can't see what is wrong with it in the day time and of course, they close early so I cannot show them at night time. They said the tint looks fine. I have heard of this issue but there must be a fix for it. Can someone please help? What should I ad…

I've noticed it's way easy to scratch Honda windows. While cleaning the back glass of a new Accord, my scrubby sponge scratched the glass. Anyone else notice this? Never happened on any other make of car.

Rollups are EASY and the backglass is flatter and smaller than the previous version, more like the new body style accord, not hard to shrink at all, it does have the gay little windows up front that are kinda a pain to get to. There is plenty of room to get behind the 3rd brakelight with a bulldozer or binder cover or clipbpard.
