Looks pretty smooth. This new model does have front quarter windows however they are factory tinted like the rear. The front roll ups have a black edge on both sides. Should make for a pretty easy window film install.

Seems to be the same windows are the previous years. Sweep still needs to be cut if you’re a bottom loader. Front corners are a little tight. I recommend a little extra slip for these ones but other than that pretty straight forward.

Doing full vehicle including windshield on this next week at an NFL players house garage an hour away, anybody done one? I have not seen one in person or know if there is anything to watch out for or electronics behind panels to cover up.

super easy car, remove 1 screw at the end of the door panel then pop the top back. The gasket is in 1 complete piece with the sides so you will need to slice it to get just the bottom out. On the rear if you remove the molds you need to plug the cut outs in the metal with cloths or something otherwise the water will run into the roof liner. All n all get as many of these as possible.

Has anyone had any issues with water burning the computer in the front door of the new Range Rovers? The computer seems to control the mirrors.

New Range Rovers - WARNING!

Just putting this up for anyone that might not know Rangeys. But don't jump in the back of one of these and start spraying water like its on fire! open the trim behind the C pillar (both sides) and you'll see lots of techno/diagnostic stuff, like ECU's, suspension levelling sensors, dvd and bluetooth stuff. Protect it well with towels or something Just another thing, on the newer models the battery is under the bonnet, if you want to hook a supply up to the car, conect the negative to the chassis, not direct to the battery.

Hi, I'm new to the site and tinting (about 20 cars), had a call for a 99 Discovery. He said he wanted the back sun roof tinted and everything from driver back... How do you do the sun roof and safari lights? Is the rest tricky as I'm guessing they're rubber gaskets, not dot matrix and full of gunk. I don't remove trim where possible, but can and have on some cars. Cheers

I am looking to tint the windows in my Discovery. Does anyone have any ideas as to what level of tint I should use. The purpose of tinting is for privacy and of course looks. The Discovery is Navy blue. Does anyone have any pictures so I can see what the Discovery would look like with tinted windows? What level of tinting should be used on the front passenger window and drivers window? I look forward to reading your comments. Thank you for the help with this. Regards, Andrew

Front Window Tint

I notice on many cars the front window has little spots around the outside of the window. If one is to have the front window or rear window tinted is there any way in insuring the film makes a good contact over the black spots so as to avoid bubbles and also look like it is original? I look forward to hearing your comments and feedback

this is as most of the other tinters call it 'pure gravy'! totally easy car to do.panels come off very easy just a couple off pozi screws on each panel, remove them then just pull out the rubber strips which are again, very easy. very flat glass all round! so easy I cant begin to tell you!
