Could use some guidance on this. Don't see Mercedes in my part of the world. Do the panels need pulled or just the tops? Any issues with the defroster lines coming off during the strip? Thanks in advance.

Hey just tinted one of these today. It wasn't fun at all. I would've loved to pull the seals. But didn't know how. So If somebody figures it out please let me know.

Piece of cake, well seems no one here can figure this out, not even google??? If you must take headrest out which I like cause I like a unobstructive clear path to put in the rear window (that's how I charge up to a grand per car). It was a nightmare to wiggle out and virtually impossile to reinstall, but this is 100% the solution. 1) Take off brake light cover, it simply pops out and will give you needed extra room. 2) Lift headrest up and then remove leather with plastic panel tool (so won't rip/damage leather) until there is nothing left but the metal posts and the plastic frame (you do not need to remove the plactic frame) this will in turn give you 4 to 5 i…

Ive got one of these in the shop now. Most of the car seems pretty straight forward. The back quarter glass rolls down similar to the convertibles. Has anybody done one of these? If so, How did you do the quarter glass. It seems like the rubber sweeps are made into the rubber that surrounds the tiny window behind the quarter which makes it impossible to remove. Hopefully somebody has figured this one out. thanks for the input!!!

Hey guys, done about 40 cars in my 3 month tinting carreer now, but I've had this car 2 times now and it's a pain in the ass. Does anyone have any tips or help on how to remove the hatch interior? I just can't seem to get it off, which would make tinting the rear window a whole lot easier since the interior is thight against the window and past the dot matrix.

New Mercedes ML 350 or ML500 Panel removal

If anyone needs help on removing the door panel from the new style ML, you will find that there is a hidden torx screw behind the door lock switch. It took me about 10 minutes before I figured that one out. Very tricky because if you are not careful, you will break the door lock switch. E-mail me if you need help.

super easy but you better stuff under these rear quarters. cool thing is when you undo the latched covers the inner covers swing up like a garage door so you can really get the towels in there.

This is my second time shrinking the back glass and every time i install it, I get quarter sized bubbles on some of the defroster lines. Can someone explain to me what I'm doing wrong? I have a pic but don't know how to post it on here with my phone

Fairly straightforward tint. Tight in the back. Watch the water and like the 2013; make sure you cover the fuse box on the passenger side with some towels. There have been radio/speaker shorts when water has gotten on fuse box. Mercedes is aware (like Audi) and is not covering warranty issues on tinted vehicles.

In the trunk, up top in the back is a cross bar. There are holes about the size of a nickel in the cross bar. Inside the holes are two little black switches. You will need a small flashlight and a hook tool. Flip the switches to the left with your hook tool. This will allow the rear seat to come forward about 1 1/2 feet. Just enough room to remove and re-install the headrest. Hope this helps out. Happy Tinting!

So I have one of these tomorrow, I'm a fan of pulling the bottom gaskets, I've done a search and couldn't find anything. Any tips? Where screws at? Do you need to remove the screws to pop back the top of the panel? Thanks.

Did one yesterday, complete redesign. About the same to tint. Rear brake light is on top of window now like a Beemer. The light comes out like Beemer, side slide clips (a little tricky, though, as the clips are inside the light housing, but you should be able to figure it out) The front door panels are similar to the E class but there isn't that heavy duty clip behind the door trim. In fact, you don't have to remove the top trim piece at all. Remove the tweeter pod like the E and then it pops right back, sleazy. Seriously, took about an hour. AND, the factory tint covers the entire rear window, no more factory light cut out!! Sweeeet

Just did a brand new ML350 front windows, couldn't seem to be able to flip the trim over so had to add a lot of slip and tucked the film in slowly, turned out pretty good. Was curious if anyone have done one and how did you get the trim over. Cheers

Hi guys, got a brand new C220 in this week. Just a quick question about the back window. Is it easy enough or do you need to remove brake lights and parcel shelves before you can tint the glass? Thanks, Jon

Sorry, I can't post pics from my phone app but ill get on the pc at some point and add them. Here's the scoop on this $150k ride. Laminated glass the whole way around, it all looked like it was about a 50% vlt and reflective blue. We put 5 over that. Fronts: kinda like a C300/C350 but no need to pull sweeps, BUT the front edge by the mirror was dammit tight. Rears: very easy. Quarters were partially covered by the automatic sunshade track but do have a border and not too bad at all. There's a left and right power window switch in each of the rear doors, so don't hit the wrong one while doing the 2nd rear window, ha! Back window: grids between the glass except for ant…

hi folks done one few weeks back and took some pics took door cards off but a pain to find on the front ones only two screws one near door catch and one near door catch (cutting costs should be at least 3) for the front same at door handle below second took me 30 mins to figure out you have to press both lock and unlock buttons at the same time and then pinch the center plastic out. then behind that will be above screw p.s. be careful against the plastic ribbon cable and finished and customer wanted a further 15% on the front thanks for reading and hope this helps
