Just 2 frd's , really simple for panel pullers , 3 10mm bolts , silver ,plastic cover on door pull , 2 bolts underneath , 1 bolt under door opening latch . front glass ez , but has a strange mirror , looks a little Fordish , didn't remove as it bent down enough to cover 6 inch legal length , no as1 mark .

Need some help with this car guys! I tried it twice now and I'm still not happy with it. Glass is almost flat looking but the sides curl in. And when I'm shrinking it, it looks like when you "snap" a side window. All 4 corners seemed to have tension on them, and on the driver side in the top along the dots, it didn't want to stick. So I tried my best at cutting a darker piece just for the dots. But I'm just not feeling it. I tried anchoring a little higher the 2nd time around but that didn't seem to do much either. And I only anchored in the center since the sides go in towards the bottom. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Did one of these today. It is pretty much cake. I don't even know if you have to shrink the back window, it took me 9 seconds to shrink. The top little window on the back is already tinted. Sorry pics aren't great.

hey guys, any tips with rear window of 2010 nissan micra ?? ive seen plenty around and never wanted to do 1, but i sort of do want to attempt it but if i can only 2 piece it i don;t like doing it on brand new cars incase a defroster line gets cut. i havent cut 1 yet but its too easy to do it and i haven't 2 pieced since mid way through last year on a nissan silvia. tips ? anything else tricky , side widnows would need shrinking but are they extreme ? can it be done 1 piece ? cheers guys !

2011 Nissan Altima 1 2 3 4 6

Did a 2011 altima the other day, everything went well except the bg. After installing the bg, I got about 3-4 peanuts per side. So i decided to install all the rollups and come back to hit them down. Tried for 30 minutes with no luck, so I decided to pull it and i steel wooled the defrosters lines for like 10 minutes. I even hit the defroster lines extra in the problems areas. Then i intalled the film and had just about the same amount of peanuts. I tried heating them for over 40 minutes with no luck. Im using true black hp and the second attempt i used nothing but sliptack. This film has been working out well on bgs, so i wanted to know if this car is just trou…

Always meant to post this but forgot, now that I'm currently tinting a few of them for the dealer , it reminded me to post this. If you prefer removing the gaskets as I do on these, be extra careful when removing them. They are extra prone to bending permanently out of shape and you'll never get them back in looking proper. Make sure you lift a corner and EVENELY work your way across to release them. Very easy car to tint, easy gasket to remove if done that way, now back to work

Need some help guys on the back glass of a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. I cut out the first piece and just couldn't get it to work all together, fingers and trim issues. The second piece I traced from the first piece, and the trim was a lot better but still had problems with fingers. Is this back glass easier to do if you take it out and if so is it pretty easy to take out? I could not find a way to open the back glass i'm assuming that it doesn't. One of the main spots I was having trouble was where the defroster connects at. Thanks for the help guys I have all the other windows done except for this one.

On the new 370Z's, you cannot manipulate the top. On the old ones, I would always get the back window to go horizontal to the deck lid for an easier install, by playing with the open switch to stop it when the top was where I wanted it. On the new ones, if you do this, you will lose hydraulic pressure and the top with go into a "safe" mode and you cannot operate the top. The dealership just got one in and it is WAY harder to install the film. The rear screen in the middle of the seats is very large and only inches from the top. I havent tinted it yet, but I will post pictures soon, unless someone beats me to it. The rear glass is a bit larger. Charge accordingly.

I did one of these last week, easy car and got another one scheduled this week however one thing gave me a hard time and that was the 3rd brake light. I couldn't figure out how to get it out easily and neither my bulldozer, red devil or anything else I had could get all the way down behind that 3rd brake light so I am curious as to how it comes out or what works well to get behind it? Thanks.

Nissan Micra rear w/s

Hi, first post here. I thought I could ask my question directly to somebody as PM, but I am not able to send PMs, so decided to open a topic. I have a Nissan Micra K12. Want to tint the rear side windows and the rear w/s with 3M crystalline - CR 70 My wife drives it, I am looking for heat protection, and as low as possible darkening - this is why I think CR70 is right for her. But the local 3M tint fitter here said that the rear window of the micra is really hard curved - spherical and he cannot fit crystalline at all. Offers CR70 on the rear side windows and CS50 on the rear windshield. I am afraid that it will look nasty, because crystalline is bluish and ColorS…

TODAY WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE TRIED TO APPLY TINT .. I know the concept ..I have ordered dvds from bob rossignol and they are ver detail oriented..but the problem I discovered was that while cutting the tint on the out side was hard for me because when I roll the window down half an inch to cut the top it seems that I made the wrong cuts on the side and I see a big gap..it seems when I roll the window down it alo goes in a side ways motion(its not an electric window)..is this normal or is it on only old carss.. I also have a problem with a bunch of hairs appearing under the tint.. I had to do the window 5 times and it till looked bad..what am I doing wrong..any help?

Ok had 2 local competitors Fail miserably, Nissan 200sx later coupe Saloon, model Rear screen, Believe it was south west tinting (taunton 18 months exp trained & under the ultimate tinting uk franchise),apparently had the car 8 am drop off & customer went to pick up at 7pm & they couldnt do rear screen & car was untinted installer using suntek for f**ks sake, so an easy shrink film, tells me & another company point blank refused to do work as screen was bad, I had a go & 1st time shrunk down no real probs admitedly have done a few of these before with no problems, have to say curvy & slighty challenging, But by far easier than a 206 o…

The back 2 windows, The top and the side edge of the window rolls INTO the frame. How are you suppose to cut this out? and once u do, how r u suppose to micro edge the side or shave when you can't even access the sides once the window is fully rolled up. I am not sure if im making sense. People who have done this car before should know what I am talking about.

Hi all, just thought I'd give a heads up. Had a customer book one of these in for today and couldn't believe the curve of the rear screen when I saw it. Now I've never come across this car before but I'd never heard any horror stories regarding it so when I booked it in over the phone I quoted my standard price for an estate vehicle, and oh have I learnt my lesson. Just thought I'd give a heads up so you all can quote accordingly.
