The 07's have two additional screws behind the arm rest. The armrest's are aggravating to remove. They have these cheesy plastic snap-in hooks that want to break off. Since I've got all windows to do, I found it easy to pry out the bottom, and the pry the top snaps loose from the bottom. Sorry for the bad pic, it was w/my phone.

I was wondering if these cars are even legal in the states? I'm not too... educated on cars. But, my boyfriend has wanted one of these foreeeevver. He said he thinks that you can have them imported and have stuff done to make it pass American standards. Is this true? Is it legal to drive with the steering wheel on the right side of your vehicle? I was just curious. These cars are pretty @#$% badass, and my boyfriend is serious about getting one if possible. That'd be pretty cool. Thanks.

I only did the 2 front doors...but the seals tuck nicely. I didn't see any reason to remove the panels. One thing I didn't like though, the windows had a 1 inch cock that swung both ways Adjust patterns accordingly.

Practicing on my friends 1993 Nissan Quest and just can't seem to get the back glass in one piece. I'm using Solargard Quantum 35, and dry shrinking per mdog's soap method. All goes well until the last 2 inches near the top & bottom edge. By then, the remaining film looks crumpled like cellophane paper, and it's hard to lay flat. Should I use a non-metallic film or do I just suck a$$? Please tell me the latter. I'm so tempted to throw in the towel and two piece this sucker...

I'm having a hard time getting this back window right. I use the mdog soap method and I get vertical creases all throughout the window. They are mostly at the top of the window. I use suntek film and have'nt had any trouble with any other models I've done. Is there a special way to shrink this back window? I know the defroster lines are thick as hell, but my problem is the shrink itself. I've moved the anchor low and high, but I still can't seem to get it to shrink right. Please help me out

Had trouble with this rear screen. Removed spoiler to get access to the curve on top. Was using baby powder/soap method dry shrink. Set the anchor higher than normal, had no problems shrinking the film to the glass. But where I had wiped a anchor, I do a H on the screen, on the sides it wouldnt sit flat. Wet checked it after, and all was fine other than on the edge of the screen, it still wouldnt lay down completley flat. Tried taking these from the sides to the bottom so could be shrunk down/up, but it didnt want to know. Had a good few attempts, on when on install all was fine apart from the sides again. Small fingers coming across, also where the rear defroster plug…

X Trail Rear Screen 1 2

Anybody had problems with the heated rearscreen not working on the X-Trail model? In our quest for the perfect tint <smile> I think we have sometimes sanded the dot matrix down too far and damaged the screen. We stopped being too aggressive with the wet & dry some 6 months ago (after I had to replace a rear screen ?450 /$700! ouch) but are starting to get calls saying "my heated rear screen is not working etc" Be interested to hear anybody else view.
