I havnt had time to do any pics lately ..but the storms from the west hit today and it has rained all day long so I didnt have retail customers rushing to get stuff done I figured a lot of beginners have a problem with heavy tar remover ,so here is my way

Retail vehicles I use Stoners Tarmenater...but dealer vehicles I use regular mineral spirits"Cheaper not safer" to soak the area after warming with heatgun"Warm not hot"Then the plastic erasers from DetailPlus work great for scraping the top portion off

Scrape off the top

wipe xcess into a towel instead off messing up good raggs

This is what the paint looks like after decontamination:lol Now we need to polish to remove the staining

Hard to buff with air buffer and take pic Real hard now that I see the pic But you get the idea

No I didnt burn threw the paint It was already missing the scrapped off part This was quite a project

The Scrapers from Detailplus are also great for road paint removel You get a whole bag for about 7.00 dollars and when the ends get dull use your hard card sharpner"if your a tinter"to keep the edges sharpe If not a tinta...use a razerblade to trim a sharpe edge Hope this helps the next time you encounter that road construction non driving Beamer type

You can also use bondo spreaders, or plastic razor blades. Nice job.
