I am starting to dry shrink my glasses dry now after wet shrinking for years. It is kicking my tail also. It takes me about the same amount of time to shrink though. I do like the fact that you can distribute the heat over a larger portion of the film and I dont get the puckers on the defrost lines like I used to get. I am going to keep on dry shrinking, hopefully I get faster.

I personally prefer the "Fart-flame" method for VW Bugs and similar back glasses.

Even when the tint get's singed and there are creases it's quite hard to tell because the glass itself has become "smoked".
