Ok well I have heard alot of people tinting in one piece. When I had my civic done at a local shop it appears that the tint is small strips between each defroster (only way I knew is because one of the strips began to peel back when I first got it).

So what is the best way to do it and why? Seems like individual strips would be a pain in the ass.

How?

Heat form (or shrink), trim to fit, clean interior glass surface, spray wet adhesive, install film to glass, squeegee out all water, and dry edges.

Does that help?

sounds like that person might have done alot of relief cuts along the defroster lines.

doing a civic in 1 piece is childs play these days.

doesn't get much simpler than that. :dunno

One Piece is the only way to go....IMHO.

Search around this site and read up and you will be able to go educate the installer that pieced yours together. :dunno
