I tried the search and it either didnt work or I am incompitant.

I have a guy that wants me to do the above BMW. I however read something about these being a pain in the but or something and that some shops wont do them? why is this.

can you all give me some tips for this?

What to watch out for, etc.

thanks,

TF

P.S.

I watched a video I got from some guy on ebay, had alot of good tips and tricks that I did not know. I recomend it for all newbies.

I have never had a problem with them ,the only think I can think of is you have to trip the door latches so the door windows will be all the way up when you tint them, also the door seals are extremely tight

The doors are all you'll need to worry about.  The rest is cake :dunno

Turboflash, interesting name. :dunno

However, you got to slow down with the BMW. Nothing to be scared about, just another step in your tinting career.

Just make sure you have extra film on hand. You will waste and learn.

We all went under that bridge.

Tips are good. But if you have the basic skill try figuring it out for yourself.

1. roll the front windows down, see that tight molding there? wel if you have a hook tool, or something similar, use to take out the seal, it does not require removing the panel, just pull it out and you should be able to do it. trust when you take out the seal its easy, you'll laugh! putting it back in is obvious.

2. Trip the door ladges so window goes up.

3. if you still cant tint it, then I suggest you become a nurse or something like that. :dunno

Theres one thing everyone missed......

Make sure you have insurance because BMW owners are a pain in the a$$.

If you see a scratch or anything slightly wrong with the car, let the owner know before touching it or he'll put the blame on you.

Same goes with all cars but especially ones manufactured in Germany(My dad was born in Germany :lol:DD:lol )
