are you all refering to soap shrinking as using fabric softener sheets? thats my fav. way when time permits!

It's just like using dryersheets, but it works better and is not toxic like the sheets.

ivory is good to use..but I think you can use just about any bar os soap..

I used whatever was in my bathroom, I think it was Dial. I think any soap will work as long as it's not "Lava" (that soap has grit in it)

Any particular soaps that may have chemicals in them that will damage the laminate on the film?

Since the soap is dry, I doubt any soap would hurt it, but if you are worried about it, I'd use Ivory soap
