today I was doing my back side windows (that roll up and down) on my 97 lumina and along the edges of the tint wouldnt stick in some places. is that when im supposed to use a heat gun and heat the edges a little? if so, how long do I need to heat it , how do I kno when its heated enough without melting the tint? ive done a few cars before but ive never used a heat gun and ive never watched any professionals tint windows either so im sure theres lots that I still need to learn. thanks

I put my hand on the inside of the glass. If it's too hot for the hand it's too hot for the glass. You can warm up the edge and then go back over the critical areas again.

ok thanks, when I heat shrink it though, do I do that when its on the outside of the glass like before I seperate that tint or do I heat shrink it after the tint has been peeled back and its on the inside?
