While reading this, I am thinking why carry extra stuff inside a home? Offices do not have the room unless they have a empty warehouse. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but the majority of houses we do has kids. Having a cutting table in the middle of the room would create more hassles than what I would want to deal with.

Filmhandler or straight out of the box for me

Tintwizardinc.com is days away from having an affordable (1/10th the cost of a filmhandler) out-of-the-box cutting unit with straight edge, safe slitting blades and winding capabilities.

interesting

Uh yes siree... I should have one soon to play with. Already looked at a small proto of the thing. Geof just might have a winner here.

Are the cutting blades on this unit strong enough to cut thick safety and security film?...and what type of blades are used and how do you change them. Defn looks like a great tool.
