I took down 9.. eight ft fluro.... lights and put 4 of these located in positions to overlap each area of the vehicle...Now have twice the lighting and dont have as many lights to clean each month

Where does one get such a light

They sell these at most commercial electrical lighting type business...400 watts the fixtures are 195.00 and replacement bulbs are 39.00 but last years instead of a few months like fluro lights...My first shop I had 6 in the wash pit area and it was 4 years before I ever replaced a ballast...

There is a cheaper version for 165.00 and the bulbs are 250 watts ...called Sodium instead of metal Halide...These bulbs are only 23.00 ...I have one of these mounted on my airbrush /steamer cart...Also great lighting

The high pressure sodiums have a much less appealing color spectrum...more orange.

The horizontal bulb orientation of those fixtures is more efficient in delivering light downward or directionally by about 20%.

And like any high temp bulb, don't fingerprint them or they'll be apt to fail early.
