oldtinter
Poor Vijay...2 weeks in a row...This time, he plunks it in the water on 18. He's still the best player in the world right now as far as I'm concerned (plus he plays Cleveland equipment.. :dunno )

TintDude
They got new rules coming out for golf anyway, everyone must have the same equipment and drives over 300 yards will be reduced to 250. (just to make an even playing field) I'm joking, just trying to make a point

oldtinter
It doesn't get more entertaining than the last 3 weeks in FLA...Even the west coast swing was good stuff this year. This has been the best stretch of entertaining tournaments in a long time as far as I'm concerned.
oldtinter
Vijay was down 3 strokes with 5 to play, tied Perry by 17th, then, the disaster shot. Still...very impressive rally by Singh.

Guest thetintshop
I didn't say I agreed with it. I'm a big "survival of the fittest" believer. BUT, you have to remember, I'm speaking of tv ratings. more people would watch if there were some rules laid down to make it more fun to watch. just like NASCAR--how much fun would it be to watch if you knew ahead of time that jeff gordon was going to win every stinkin race? who wants to watch tiger win every tournament by 4-5 strokes? who wants to watch detroit win the stanley cup every damn year? (I wouldn't, but at the same time, I also like knowing that carolina is gonna suck next year, and the next, and the next, etc.) if only the strong, and or rich, win all the time, then where's the fun in watching it? it's not---it's boring. I don't like salary caps or regulations that punish the strong any more than anyone else. but they do it because they have to. otherwise, people wouldn't watch any sports on tv.
