My assumption is that they distribute some other manufactures film under their own label. Possibly, one of the two you mentioned or some other company.

BTW...

The do list a fading cause chart unlike any that I have ever seen-

40% Ultra Violet Light

40% Infa-Red Light

10% Visible Light

10% Other causes - not related to window films.

their site says they cater primarily to the DO_IT_TO_YOURSELFER market. I think that says it all.

pretty cheep privces on some of that stuff, might be worth getting if you just want to "SLANG SOME PAPERS" on some homies vehicles.

Yes and no......

it's more like

25% Visible Light (if you use the inductry standards, But since Visible is part of heat, you should get to count visible for another 12%)

25% Heat (53% IR, 3% UV, 44% Visible)

10% Misc

40% UV

This is a SIMPLE explination for fade. if you considerr the types of lighting, the exposure, the ambient temperature, the different types of material that are fading, chemicals in the air, altitude, moisture in the air........ there is no chart to show you fade.

Actually the first chart is definitely wrong, the second one is one of a many possible charts depending on what is suffering the fading problem. It is a lot more complex than that, really, but as a rule of thumb :the less something fades, the more it is due to UV, percentagewise. the more something fades the less we can help with blocking all the UV. fading doesn't necessarily have to do with the quality of the product that fades.
