Someone had started a thread about this not too long ago... I don't recall any specific software named, but this can be done with Excel or something along those lines.

awtint.com = flat glass pro, created by Dave McFadden. Will do it all, including inventory.

da roach is right, excel or Msworks or other Db programs will work.

took about an hour to set one up. Mine is primitive, but it works.
