How's this? Last night my factory phone is on divert and I get a bird ringing up for tinting info at 9.33PM.

I'd never consider doing that even in my wildest dreams.

Thank God it is extremely rare when this happens.

Had a customer ring me about the same time of night... he expected the answering machine to get it. I answer and he's giving me an 800 sq ft job... heck yes I'll take late calls like that.

Rare indeed, but nice when it pays off.

That is the only reason we answer up until about 8 pm most nights. We close a lot of jobs after 5 pm

RJE uses his mobile as a business phone, and a few months back we received a text at around about 11:00pm about a car. Needless to say within a week we had the car in and tinted , so it goes to show that 24/7 answering service does help SOMETIMES!

I agree... but, a nicely worded voice mail message gets the point across, that you will return the call during business hours.

I have been known to answer the phone at all hours... but,

we all need to have time for ourselves and family.

Normally I close the gate at 5:30 OR 6:00, but one day I was there late, left the gate open and a guy rolls up in a BLACK Merc. 560 SL and needs it buffed out. Sold the job for 5 bills, just cause I was there. Goes to show you never can tell.

Took me almost all day the next day to get it how I wanted it though.

I hate buffing, especially BLACK!
