Im kinda new to the business and on most vehicles the weather strip can be moved out of the way but what should I do on vehicles like newer chevy trucks. I have done mine pretty good but some the weather strip just causes to many problems what can I do to fix this basic problem? :evileye

you can pull the bottom gasket out on those :evileye new body style trucks

what I do is when I am cutting my film on the outside I raise it about 1/8th inch above the bottom gasket then cut my pattern. when I install it it drops down just enough to not leave a light gap and just enough to not touch the gasket.

you can take the panel off or tuck the gasket or use something like a gasket wizard. there are many ways you can do it.

do u cut the top part of the window on the out side or do it on the inside. I have been experimenting with both but the gasket usually gets in the way.
