Mobile Tinting

Im after some tips for mobile tinting. Im thinking of trying it out for a while, still keeping the garage but just try and get out on the road too. Anyone got any tips for bad weather days and what do you do about where to tint. Do you tell the customer you will only do it on a driveway or in a garage ? obviously you cant tint in the street.

Im in England and the weather is poor all the time. I was thinking of just buying a pick up with a back box and using that. Do any of you work from the inside of your truck(panel pulling) ?

I have considered going mobile to dealerships for ppf. It makes more sense to have me do it right at their location. I couldnt imagine being mobile without at least using someone else's garage. If I were to install outdoors with tint, I would want to wet the film inside with the door closed.

Im kinda curious too, what about a windy day?

:evileye I've always wondered this myself...wind, dust, extreme heat pounding directly on the back glass...how is it possible to have high quality standards :gasp

I'm not saying it can't be done to those that do ...I'm just saying I wouldn't know how...and would like to be enlightened :shock

add crazy homeowners with lawnmowers to the list. It CAN be done, with a lot of practice. No way to tell you how to polish your skills tho.

Wait for the wind to stop, peel, soak and hual a$$ Of course the whole time your praying that the film doesn't blow away or you don't trip on a seat belt
