contact your rep....there's a reason it happens. Excessive stretching of the film during manufacturing? :coffee Maybe metint will show up and can clarify it more. He would know. I've had a couple rolls of HPCharcoal do it...but it never has affected the film in the long term.

:dunno During manufacturing the film does pick up a stretch, this is fact... sometimes 'curl' can be neutralized when laminated to another layer... a single ply would not have that option. They usually check film for curl before it goes out, if it displays a curl that you speak of, it would not be considered sellable material and trashed. Sometimes it could happen to only a portion of the run and show up in rolls out in the market, yet displayed no curl when checked boxing 100 footers at the plant. :lol2

Like Blade said... it has no effect on the long term life. If you find it too aggravating to work with, send it back... ask for a different roll or lot number in replacement. :dunno

the only company I experience of rolling is from lulu, they're bronze film mostly, rolls like a mofo, nr true grey no problems here, used fora short while but so far no problem. :dunno

This makes sense... bronze is a very slow mover so it sits in inventory and can pick up a curl from its winding on the core... even more so, if the distributor or dealer does not air condition the film storage area. :lol2
